Oakland, CA, January 9, 2012 – Insurance brokerage Barney & Barney LLC, one of the largest and longest-standing insurance brokerages in the U.S., welcomes Brian Duke to the firm’s Bay Area office. Duke, who is serving as the office’s Sales Leader, will be responsible for all aspects of sales leadership for the region. While concentrating on new business production, producer recruitment and overall sales leadership in the region,Mr. Duke will help to expand Barney & Barney’s existing growth efforts.

Brian began his insurance career with Aetna and then worked at Saylor & Hill Co. (which became Barney & Barney in 2008) for 4 years in the mid 1990s. After leaving Saylor & Hill, Brian worked for Marsh, ABD and Willis.Most recently, Brian was with Willis in a client management and sales role.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management degree.
